Later On Mr. Robert Perez Bought It and Changed the Name To "el Sombrero Drive Inn" Changing the Restaurant To Mexican Food. in 1986 the Bohon Family Bought the Restaurant, Changing the Menu and Added Seafood To Their Mexican Food Menu. in 2000 the Bohon Family Started the Plans To Update the Appearance of the Restaurant and Finally in 2001 the Restaurant Became What It Is Today, A Better Looking Place Continuing With Its Great Service and Adding To the Menu As the Clients Demand New Changes. El Merendero Keeps Getting Year After Year One of the Best Records With the "health Department" and Strives To Improve Day After Day.
